Meet our FEATURED FEMME for today. She’s a Filipina blogger based in Canada. She’s definitely one of our favorite style bloggers . Aside from her sweet and adorable character, her superb personal style justifies the real Gold Dot girl. One may get intimidated with her “don’t-mess-with-me”  expression , long legs and ostentatious footwear selection but once you’ve  read our interview, you’ll definitely see something different in her.

Q:  MAX hours in heels?

I’m a “heel” person! I love walking in heels even going to the mall, just doing grocery shopping, going to the University, or just trying to show off my new pair! lol Around 6 hours standing, 4-5 hrs walking. Really depends on the pair though, if it’s comfortable or not. That is why I love Gold Dot! The wedges that I own are the lightest pairs I have! They do not weigh much that I can walk in them for long hours! 

  Q: Any weird habit with shoes (smelling the leather before going to bed, keeping shoes in the boxes, cleaning soles after every use lol )

Haha. I have to keep the paper wraps of the pair even though I’ve already used it many times. Every time I need to study for a final exam, I put a pair on to keep me motivated! I call them Power Shoes! I also keep the price tags (if there’s any) attached just to remind me how expensive my shoes are! haha

Q:  How many shoes do you own as of August 28, 2012 8 AM?
I do not own lots compared to other bloggers. However, I think I have more than enough for different occasions. Everything included, I would say at least 80 but that’s heels, sneakers, boots, flats included. The last time I counted just my heels, I had 48 pairs. Not much, right?

Q: Say yer gon design a shoe collab with GD, what would be its name? ..and most importantly what kind of shoes is it?

HAHA. This is fun! Well, you guys had been calling your shoes by names (person) like Drei, Bertha, Charm, etc… so maybe Holie or Hailey (just because they rhyme with “Maggie” haha) or Maggie itself. Why not?! haha. Well, first it would be very comfortable. It would be nude in color since I love nude-color shoes. The height needs be very high. Overall, just simple but very easy to dress up with and can be worn in different occasions. 

5. What’s yer first GD SHOES?
My first was a pair of Karl Slingback which I bought from Rockwell!


Q: Favorite shoe mantra/ quote / philosophy? 

“A pair of shoe can change your life. Ask Cinderella.” My ultimate favorite!

Q: What’s yer fave GD shoes?

Oooh I have tons! I love my Karl Sling back since they’re soooo unique! I also love my Bertha and my Chelsea! But if I have to choose one, i would actually go with my Elite flats in leopard! They’re soooo comfy! As I said before, they’re way more comfortable than Toms!

My EliSe flats maybe? So I can still run fast while trying to save people! Let me be your stylish super hero! lol


Q:  You’re a super hero and you use shoes as a weapon. How will it work to fight the evil guys

Funny that I was just talking about me being a “stylish super hero”. The pair has wings that I can fly so I can save people! It will be very appropriate to wear in the Philippines just incase there’s a flood coming! (knock on wood that it’s not going to happen). But better be safe and prepared than never! ;)
